Tonight I took a walk around downtown Newburgh with Jason. The objective was to find random objects and make something out of them. I got bonus points for leaving my creation in a public space for someone else to find. I took it a step further and left a little note saying "If you found this, you are part of an art project! Please visit 'whitneymadethis.blogspot.com." I'm hoping they do and let me know what they think!
It was about 10pm, windy, and raining when we went on this venture, but I think it was worth it. We made a great memory and hopefully we can make someone smile whenever they come across this. It was left in the red telephone booth next to the old Newburgh library.

Sophia and I wanted to enjoy the beautiful day so we parked and took a stroll in Newburgh. On the way back Sophia was interested in the Rock fountain and then the old telephone booth. To my surprise I found your note and art work. How cool is that. I love it.

Hey Whitney, A few months ago a couple of friends and myself decided to take a midnight (more like three o'clock in the morning) stroll. We first stopped at Walmart then on to Historic Newburgh. We much enjoy walks by the river and decided it was a must for this particular night. We walked for about an hour before coming upon the telephone booth. We were going to get a picture by it but realized we didn't have a camera.. What a bummer. We were really excited when we stumbled upon your creation. It made our night. ;) Thanks a ton.
