Days 7 & 8

I've fallen a little behind on my blog due to a family emergency that took place last Wednesday. But I have been creating stuff! This post is a bit of a two-for-one, or actually, a three-for-one deal! I've been trying to play catch up on the day's assignments I've missed so here's what I have for you:

Day 7 - "Make something with your breakfast before you eat it."

For breakfast I had roasted tomatos with basil & bleu cheese, 6-minute eggs, and whole grain toast with apricot preserves! In case you were wondering, yes, it was delicious. I thought the only way to go with this dish, creatively, was to do the obvious:

I call him Egg Face Man. Doesn't he look happy to be eaten?



Day 8 - "Use only water as your medium/inspiration today."

I took my niece to 'Fired Up!' today in Evansville, where we both got to paint ceramic pieces of our choice and have the instructors fire them there. I had never been before and it was really a good time! (Minus the 12 or so screaming children in the party room and the loud mouthed mom that was on her bluetooth the entire time)

I picked out this vase and created a watery-ish-bubbly-speckled thing. Unfortunately you can't fully witness my artistic genius just yet, because the piece hasn't been fired. When it is fired (in about a week) I will be sure to post the final results here! Unless of course it sucks, and then I won't. And you'll just have to deal with that.
